I have been having symptoms of strabismus where by my left eye goes upwards when i focus on something...its not constant and only happens when i focus on certain distances and object sizes..

If i focus on a dot at arms length for example it then turns upwards.

I am going to the opticians in 2 weeks time to get it checked out but wondered how quickly can the weak eye loose it's vision? I been having the affect since june time and its now October and the eye has lost some vision but not a "massive" amount in that time...

Was just curious how slow is the deterioration usually and does the eye tend to just loose its vision gradually or is it sudden?

Also i was wondering what can i do whilst i wait to visit the opticians to reduce the weak eye from getting any worse?

the deterioration is rather slow, i know thsi becuase ive had it all my life, somethings such as glasses or patching the eye make it better as soon as you stop it will deteriorate
