Q: Problems With Cycle After Getting Tubes Tied?

I got my tubes tied about 5 months ago (during my c-section). My first period was normal but after that they are crazy. I get my monthly period then after that ends it is like I spot for a week or 2 (enough for a panty liner). And this last one was 2 weeks after the other. I am also having really bad cramping (I think my endometriosis is back.) I cant take BC pills because a history of a DVT. Is this normal? What would cause this wierd schedule after getting tubes tied? I am waiting on my referral to go through to get in to see a GYN (we just moved), but I am getting worried and frustrated in the mean time. It is like I am always bleeding anymore.

It's a good thing you're trying to get into your gyno. I know when women get hysterectomies their cycles change, but I'm not sure about getting your tubes tied.

You should get it checked out to check on the endometriosis and also just to make sure everything's still ok after the procedure.
