Blood Clots & Clotting Disorders: Dx + Treatment
My husband recently found out that he had a non occlusive DVT in his right popliteal vein. He also has gout and Factor 5 Leiden blood disorder. I was wondering if there are any seminars similar to the one above located in Arizona?

Hi. I just recently found out I have a central retinal vein occlusion in my left eye and I'm going back to see my hematologist on wednesday because its' rare for someone my age to have this(I'm 35). I don't have diabetes or high blood pressure so i don't have any of the risk factors.

can a clotting disorder cause pain
i was 3 mnts pregnant when my OB checked for blood disorder, i had 3 miscarries before and a family history of early heat attacks and stroke. the blood test showed i was defecient in protien s and vitamin b complex. i eventually went on bed rest for high b/p and edema. they called it preeclamtic? during labor somthing went horribly wrong and i was rushed into an emergency c-section. it has been nearly 3 years ago and i have such pain in my low back hips and legs that i can barely walk. as i grocery shop i lean on the cart to keep as much weight off my leg as i can just so i can finish and go home. the more i move the wrse it gets. my doctor has done tests for RA,lupus and others i can't remember. if enyone is having the same problem and u can help PLEASE reply. tnx

blood clot
hello... i have had some various health problems and my uncle (a neurosurgeon) thanks they are all related... well when i was 16 i broke my foot (i still dont see how this could be related, but im not a dr), 17 i was diagnosed with gall stones and had to have my gall bladder removed. since my gall bladder has been removed i have had many of the problems i was complaining before my surgery (stomach pain, heart burn, acid reflux (so bad that when i bend over it comes up my throat into my mouth (tried medication but it doesnt work) i have had problems with my stool (diharea... about 20 mins after i eat)) and now this year my dr did a cat scan of my stomach and pelvic area and found that i had a blood clot (stomach area was normal... still have the pain tho)in my right upper leg (by the ball joint)i was immediately put on blood thinners (injections in my stomach (twice a day) and a pill) i was taken off of my birth control (it was tested to see if that was what caused it and it came back normal) i have been on the blood thinners now for about 3-4 weeks... i was just wondering if anyone knew anything on what could cause this... no one in my family has any of these problems... i hate it im always tired and stressed out from it... i walk across the parking lot and want to go to sleep ( i was a very active person before (exercised 3 hours a day 5 days a week)) i have also gained a whopping 45lbs in the last 6 months (very devasting as i was a 140lbs and now 185lbs) if anyone could help... or direct me to a doctor who could help me i would appreciate it alot!
thanks!
Amanda
