Head Still In Pain
Posted: 10-14-07 21:26pm

I sent an earlier posts saying My head hurts, its by the temples. I went for a cat scan and they haven't called yet. It's been 3 days, if something is life threating do they usually contact you right away? I tried excedrin migraine it worked for about 2 hours then my head started to bother me again. Any one have suggestions? It's making me very depressed and scarred

Today went alright, I mean from time to time it felt like my head was starting to hurt. But it's towards the night now, and I keep feeling like a sharp pain like every 5 minutes or so but nothing too bad. Can migraines cause depression and cause you not to eat? It just worries me, am I going to live the rest of my life like this?

Man, headaches can take over your life and just rule it. Many things can cause depression - if your headahces get better and your depression doesn't go away, then I would get worried about the depression. Headache first, depression later.

Call your doctor tomorrow, explain that you are anxious about the results of the CAT scan.

Could you have these due to diet or some allergy or some environmental condition?

Don't give up! You'll find out why you're getting these.
