Does anyone else have lots of gas as a
premenstrual symptom? I'm usually
irregular in terms of when I get my
period, but I can tell when it is coming
because I get very gassy (and/or have
swollen, tender breasts, crave salty/fatty
foods, and feel generally health forum).

I also get very gassy a few days before my
period.. Another thing that i've noticed
is that during my period I find it very
easy to have a bowel movement.. While
during the rest of the month I go maybe
3-4 times a week.. I know thats not
normal, but i'ts been like that for as
long as I can remember.

Heya! Yup, i've got the same things as
both of you... Very gassey, never really
thought too much about it as it's always
been a fairly common thing for me. And
it is also very easy for me to have a
bowel movement during the first few days
of my period. I guess both of these
symptoms started around the same time I
went on birth control, 3 or 4 years ago.
I'm on ortho tricyclen, maybe this is a
side effect?? Are either of you on this
brand of bc?? Could be a possibility...
Or just random.. Lol

Im on marvelon.. But have been for only 3
months.. I had this before I started on
birth control, so I don't think that this
is a side effect from the pill.

I have noticed that my bowel movement is a
lot looser during my period and more
often..... I havent taken the pill since
I was about 18 and im now 38 so I dont
think its a side effect from that..... I
have always thought it was normal and not
payed it much attention altho I did notice
it.

Hi-
my daughter just took part in a study of
pms herbal supplements. She did not know
what she was taking until last week. She
was thrilled with the results after taking
the product for 6 months. She was taking
oona pms 2. She later found out that they
make 2 kinds of supplements for 2
different kinds of problems. She was also
having pms related gas and I rememeber
when she told me when it was gone. Also,
I have heard that another product has had
some success called femaprim. I hope this
helps.
