Q: Gay Marriage/gay Sex

Do you think that it is acceptable to refer to "Gay Marriage" as exactly that?

If so, why?

Why not, when a heterosexual couple get married, call it "Straight Marriage"?

Same with sex.

Don't reply with "God says this, so it's wrong." That won't do it for me, or any of the other non-christians.

LOL I like how you think Kaiteo.. I think marriage is marriage and it all ought to be outlawed.

Well for the purpose of debate you kinda have to call it that...dont ya? I dont think people say that for any other reason than to be specific.

But I would never say "hey guys congratulations on your gay marriage" hahahaha that make me giggle just thinking about saying it....dunno why

I agree, for the purpose of defining what the debate is about, you have to specify.

But I would call it just marriage when actually referring to a couple getting married.

lol that made me giggle out loud. ^_^

i suppose its because its still a subject that is approached with caution.. and also its still being fought for.. if i run around saying *Legalize Marriage!* people will look at me like i have a weiner growing out of my forehead.. but if i say *legalize GAY marriage!!* people will know what point im trying to get across.

Marriage is marriage doesn't make any difference to me but yeah for the sake of debate you have to say gay marriage because otherwise it could get confusing

Um, you might be very wrong there, and you're just listing very common misconceptions. Gay male porn (animated) is extremely popular in Japan and enjoyed mostly by women.

Many women actually love watching gay male porn. Personally, I'd rather watch two guys than two girls. I don't find either kind disgusting.

The stigma on gay male sex comes from the concept that it is a sin, and that a man who likes it must be gay, and gay men are not "REAL" men. They are wussies, etc. That's why it is shunned. Men and women alike have it drilled subconsciously into their heads that it is disgusting and evil, when it's really not. It can be as sexy, hot, and beautiful as straight or lesbian sex.

Marriage is an archaic institution that needs outlawed altogether.

It's one thing to make a committment to someone, and that is beautiful, it's another to have to define that committment to the law and draw up a contract and make it about money.

I haven't been in Japan. I'm talking american.. And I know I'm right.. I have been around alot of stright men and when they watch pron it is all good until you introduce two men and they all say YUCK! Sorry MOST stright men do not like to see guys getting it on!! Ask a few.. I think you will find me right.. And this doesn't have to do with sin.. Most of the men I'm talking about are not even Christina or believe.. they are men I have met years ago up to present.

Well, that's why they're straight. They don't find the male body attractive. They like lesbians because there are twice as many boobies. Razz

(Likewise, gay men are hot to women.)

I'm still pretty sure it's our culture, as I happen to know a lot of straight guys who do NOT go "Yuck, gross!" when presented with gay porn. Looks like your friends are just more close-minded.

Sorry! It's your word against mine, and trust me, my male friends are "all amerian guys". You trying to imply that approving of gay sex is anti-american?

Just because something is common doesn't make it right, just think about that. Being close-minded is common, but it is still bad.

However majority rules and in America heterosexuality are still the majority over gays, and I would have to say more straight guys would feel as I do..
