Q: So I'm Pretty Excited..

We sign our lease for our apartment on Tuesday @ 10:30am!!!

I am SO excited! We're moving! We're finally moving!
*leaps around crazily*

I'll be sure to take lots of pictures once we're in.

I bought a microwave & a coffee maker last night.

I cashed in my life insurance policy, so I should be
getting an $1800 check in the mail here pretty soon.
We still need to get dishes, silverware, & a sofa.

Wheeee.

I'm just so excited to finally be out of the piece of trash
& away from our roommate who I hate sososososo much.
Gabe will actually be in a clean, stable environment.
Where he can crawl around & play all he wants.

*Happy sigh*

Yep! It was the old high school from 1915-1958! The historic society had a lot to do with the renovations, so a lot of it still looks the same- it's so cool! They're loft apartments, so they're very bright & open. High vaulted ceilings, 15 ft vertical windows.. The building has a theatre, art gallery, business center where you can use the internet for free, a "community" room with a fireplace & a tv & lots of comfy seating (you can rent it out for parties & such), an exercise room, & they're working on an auditorium. & It's all on top of the hill overlooking downtown. It's seriously like, my dream home, lol.

We don't have a great view. It's of the parking lot, lol, but the view from the parking lot is AMAZING!

Don't worry, I'm gonna take lots of pics!

It's a walk-in closet, Kay! It's not super huge, though. I wish I could make out the numbers in the floor-plan for the bedroom, though, lol. I can't make them out if my life depended on it!

I couldn't read the numbers either. Don't feel bad. I was judging by the size of the other rooms in the floor plan.

I hear ya! Right now, we're living in a super old, falling apart trailer. The floor is falling through, there is mold growing all over the bathtub & the laundry room, the heat doesn't work in our & Gabe's bedroom, the windows do not open, the carpet is so nasty & no amount of carpet cleaner will fix it. I do not want Gabe learning to crawl & walk in this place. &.. Well, I could go on, but I won't.

Wink

Congrats on the new place! I hate moving, but it sounds like it will be worth it for you.
Are you going to sell your trailer?

We've been trying to sell it, but nobody will buy it. It's awful. We're going to just have to give the title away. It's a shame, we paid almost $3000 for it, but we HAVE to get rid of it. We can't afford to be paying lot rent for it when we aren't living there. A friend of Chris's said he would demolish it for free.

That place looks so cool. I can't wait to see pictures. THats great that you, Chris and Gabe are going to get into a nice place.

What is that other toilet and sink on the right side of the floorplan? Looks like it is above the kitchen on the right??? Is that yours?

The floor plans are so unique, I had to look at all of them. I love looking at floor plans and imagining myself in them

The floorplan looks great! I love big open apartments like that!
The way you described your trailer it sounds exactly like the old one my mom had that I lived in with her for 3-4 years til I graduated! The floors were caving in, ceilings leaked, windows either didn't open or every little breeze you felt.. It sounded like you were explaining our old trailer right down to a T!
So happy for you guys, can't wait to see pictures!
