Q: Adam And Eve-the First Humans?

If Adam and Eve were the first human beings, assuming they were caucasian, how are different races in existence as of now?
Try to answer this question in a realistic way.

Lol. That's an excellent question that I don't need to answer because I believe in evolution Wink But I'm waiting eagerly for answers. It doesn't matter what race Adam and Eve were... how do you explain every other race?

Not to hijack, but I'd like to ask my own: If it was just Adam, Eve, Cain and Able, then after Cain wandered into Nod... WHO exactly did he marry!?

I don't belive in the whole adam and eve story, no offence intended to anyone i'm just not a religious person so my answer is you can't explain it via that story because in my opinion it hapened through evolution

As a catholic, a member of the original Christian Church, Established by Jesus himself and founded on St Peter and promised the protection of the holy spirit, The Genesis Account of Creation is not a physical reality, it is a symbolic book with symbolic language ect.

Jinks, do you really think you can beat me on this?

You dont stand a Chance!

Don't think when I say "founded by Jesus Christ" I do so lightly, I am more than capable to defend my faith.

I have already shown in another thread that the Catholic faith is the original Christian faith.

So Genesis is another book of the bible that isn't literal truth (people pretend it is anyway)... Tell me: exactly what part of the bible are we supposed to actually believe happened!?

Hm. Adam and Eve could have been the first generation of true Hominids migrating northward (which carries you through the middle east) and I suppose "Nod" could be Europe and Cain married a Neanderthal.... lol XD Cain's descendants didn't become the Chosen people anyway, the third child of Adam and Eve (I forget his name) got the honor of ancestoring Abram (Abraham) .

I *just* read Genesis the other day; I don't normally have all of this memorized lol.

"I think you need to reread your teachings on apsotolistic succession.. "

You have to remember this is my thing!!!!

Or as austin powers would say "Its my bag baby"

It is not me who needs to re-read anything, it is you that needs to read Early Church History, Early Church Fathers etc.

I think a nice impartial adjuicator shall suffice.... Wikipedia?

"The Catholic Church or Roman Catholic Church (see terminology below) is the Christian church in full communion with the Bishop of Rome, currently Pope Benedict XVI. It traces its origins to the original Christian community founded by Jesus and spread by the Twelve Apostles, in particular Saint Peter.[1][2]"

how about

www.reference.com

"The Church traces its history to Jesus and the Twelve Apostles, and sees the bishops of the Church as the successors of the Apostles in general, and the Pope as the successor of Saint Peter, leader of the Apostles, in particular. The first known use of the term "Catholic Church" was in a letter by Ignatius of Antioch in 107, who wrote: "Where the bishop appears, there let the people be, just as where Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. Because every painting I have seen of them, they are portrayed as white.
Regardless, if they were a different race, how are caucasians in existence?

Wikipedia has got NOTHING on Urban Dictionary, my friend. Wink

Search the words "Christianity" and "Religion"
Most of the explanations mirror exactly how I feel.
