Lying to Bipolar So to Avoid Conflict

Hi all, Newbie here.

I have been with my fiance for 3 years now. Shortly after we got engaged last Dec she was re-diagnosed with BP2. My tendency is to withhold stressful information from her because I don't want to deal with the inevitable conflict (I have my own issues of course...)

I recently held back some bad financial news until we could see our therapist together to discuss it-so her breakdown would be a controlled setting. Unfortunatly I ended up telling her outside of the appointment and she spiraled down. Now she is extremely upset at me because she feels like I am a constant liar and she cannot trust me.

She has asked me to tell her everything. My research of BP seems to conflict with what my fiance is asking for.

What do you think: should I always be brutally honest with her and not try to wait till the time is right?

Why did you tell her outside of the appointment? Did something happen that required you to tell her then? I don't see why you need to hide things from your fiancée. It doesn't seem fair. If you expect for her to be your "equal" within a marriage, you have to be able to tell her about good things AND bad things. Sometimes things can be presented at better times (during appointments, etc...) but she may feel betrayed if you can't come to her about these issues.
