ok im 17 and im short for my age just at 5'6, and to go along with that i look young, i know im going to be glad i look young later on in life, but for now its killing my confidence, i try to lift weights to have a good body, and i have a good one its not a models body but idc im happy with it, its just my babyface and shortness thats killin me. just want your opinion on this.

also i get really anxious about the being short deal and the babyface because it makes me feel young u know. idk any advie would be sweet.

peace

I personally thought the best (and okay, the ONLY) concert I ever went to was a NIN's show. It was just absolutely a rush, totally phenomenal! I was blown away as my first real concert experience! ONLY annoying part was that my (now ex) boyfriend was trying to record the concert on a tiny little voice recorder, so I wasn't allowed to sing along or cheer if I wanted to sit next to him. Just another reason I dumped him...

Hello my short friend. I have been cursed or blessed as well. You will find a short, cute young looking woman who will adore the fact that she doesn't have to strain her neck to looik at you. Society does do a lot of judging on the basis of youth and at times that is annoying. I try to look very professional if I am doing something that requires me to be taken seriously. Otherwise, i don't worry about it.

Best concert ever......David Bowie was fabulous.....Sting was great....I think Pink Floyd was the all time best concert I ever went to. Metallica USED tto put on a great show before they sold out and lost their souls. I think the most fun i ever had at a concert was when I saw the Dead Milkmen.

/agree Sillyakchick.
I am 5ft nothing tall; so 5'6" on a guy is rather nice, no neck strain (though I tend to date well into the 6' + catagory) and I won't, because this isn't the place for it, go into the other advantages ... <Evil Grin>

I'm short and I look like I'm twelve. I've learned to be ok with that. Smile

Bon Jovi?? Although the goo goo dolls opened for him and they were TERRIBLE!!

Norah Jones was good too.

I was always the skinniest guy in high school, but played football, basketball and baseball, to great success. But I was about 5'8" at the time and was not considered a jock. So, I hung out with a group of nerds and did very well in academics. Believe me, you can overcome anything you think is a disadvantage. In fact, I grew another two inches in college, so you might gain more height yet.

I also had a baby face and looked younger than I was. Maybe you are worrying needlessly about this because I didn't find it a problem. I still look younger than I really am and you're right, I like it now that I getting older. You'll find that high school will fade from your mind as soon as you go to college and meet a new set of friends. My wife is seven years younger than me and was attracted to me, not because I looked a certain way, but because I was soft-spoken. The lesson there is sometimes you might never know what attracts a woman to you.

There are plenty of women out there who will like the way you look. And most women like a man who has confidence and is secure with himself and has a sense of humor. You don't have to perform magic tricks or brag when you meet a girl, just be able to converse with her and, most importantly, listen to what she has to say.

Now, for me, Pink Floyd was the best concert I have ever seen, but the Rolling Stones were also very good. I saw Paul McCartney a few years ago and had a great time because I was a mega-Beatles fan.

I always get carded going into a bar or casino. And when I tell people I'm married, they give me this look like "since when were 12 year olds allowed to get married!" Lol. You get used to it.

You won't be 17 forever. This will pass. I'm sure you like different kinds of girls...well, they like different kinds of guys. If you are a nice guy, a respectable dude then that's what matters.

Best concerts? Queen. http://www.youtube.co m/watch?v=hdGcX-s99Rg

i went to see Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, & Seether in concert a couple of weeks ago. it was hands down the best one i've ever seen. the energy was amazing. i'm a huge fan of Breaking Benjamin. i love 3 days & seether as well, but breaking benjamin just has this intense feel to each and every one of their songs & it just seems to draw you in.

I went to a linkin park concert after meteora came back quite some time ago, and it was a loot of fun because of all the energy in the crowd. Last year I saw ben harper though and he really rocked out, especially with his rendition of marley's war
