Hi there everyone. I was just wondering who out there is breastfeeding. I plan to, but I know a lot of young moms who opt out of it for some reason. I'm kind of curious to know their reasoning for that as well. Hope to see some replies soon

i didnt breastfeed because it didnt feel right when i tried and being able to have someone else feed my son made things alot easier on me.. plus im not a a very healthy eatter so i figured it would be better for us to have my son on formula instead. and he is just as healthy as any breastfed baby.. hes in the 90th percentile for hieght and weight, and he hasnt had a cold or anything.
but if you want to breastfeed go for it... atleast try it out and see what you think, if you dont like it just pick up a can of some good formula.. before we switched reese to whole milk we were paying around 100$ a month on formula, it isnt cheap but it ccould be alot worse. also depends on brands and stuff

Hmmm....I guess everyone is different. I definitely plan to try it. My milk is already coming in, so I think I'll be fine in that respect. I was also wondering if it hurt anyone on here at first. My mom said it hurt her, but I guess it would depend on the person.
