Q: Candidates?

Who do you think will win the primaries? Who are you hoping will win? I thought a more light hearted debate free from abortion, homosexuality, war, and religion might be refreshing, but...wait....oh well.

I am ashamed to say that I don't even know the candidates...

It's from apathy and lack of time. These days, I feel like anyone who runs for office has motives that suck.

Vote Green in '08! (If the candidate doesn't suck, that is.)

I would be green if I had faith that the republicans wouldn't throw the vote again. But right now I'll do anything to get them out of office.

I heard Obama speak a long time ago and was sold on him right away. Have you read any of his books? He brings a passion and zeal to the political world that I thought didn't exist anymore.

I don't even care if he's faking it, it inspires me.

Although I would love to see a woman in office, i just don't think Hillary can swing it. And I don't know if she's the right one for the job anyway. Although she has experience, she is too sold out for my tastes.

I agree that Obama is very inspiring. I would really like to see an Obama/Edwards ticket.

I think alot more people would be Green if they knew what the platform was.

I'm sick of the two party system. It will never change until people support a 3rd party!

Man, Al Gore should most certainly be a Green and run.

I've always thought a triumverate would be a better way to lead the country. Republican, Democrat, and alternative candidates working all together.

Al Gore just won the Nobel Peace Prize. I wish he would run. I thought he was going to announce that at the Academy awards last winter, but they just kept joking about it...

No I totally agree, the two party system blows. I might vote for Al if he ran green party- if I thought there was a good chance. I love him.

There will never be a good chance unless we vote for the third party.

I know that, but I'm gun shy. Don't want another disaster like the last two, you know?

It's all the same to me if Demos or Repubs take the crown.

I wish we could put them in order of preference. They do that in other countries. But then they usually have like 5 parties to pick from.

So I could say, "I'll take the green candidate first. If he has no chance, I want the democrat, and under no circumstance do I want the republican....."

Smile Then if the green guy really doesn't have a chance, my vote will still matter. I think not only would this cause the pres to actually be the guy that the majority wanted, but it would cause people to not be so afraid to vote for the underdog.

Al Gore just got the Nobel Peace Prize for championing Global Warming this morning. I guess that means Global Warming really exists finally!! No WAY people can deny it now. Perhaps something will finally get done about it?

I am all for a third party. I like the Green party; I learned alot about it after I moved to Maine. Last election I fully joined the Green Party.
