Hello all, for about 2 months now I have had this annoying cough that went away and then came back. About 2 months ago I went to the doctor and was told that I had Bronchitis, so I was prescribed antibiotics. I took them for a week, the cough went away, and then after 2-3 weeks it came back. So i've been now coughing for 2 weeks again.

So, I went to the doctor again, he said my lungs sounded clear and told me I have allergies and should get rid of my cat. He prescribed me Nasonex and Advair. The two times I went I asked for a chest x-ray but my doctor said that there wasn't any need. After everything I am still coughing. It's not major, just annoying.

My question is, what do you guys think could be the reason for this recurring cough and should I go see a specialist, and if so, how soon?
