I have a very irregular cycle and can't depend on the calendars. The best thing to do would be to use ovulation predictors. That is really the best way to see when you are ovulating.

Another thing you can try is to get a basal body temperature (bbt) thermometer to check your waking temp each morning. This will give you a good picture of what your cycle is doing month to month. You can get a thermometer at walmart for like$7 and then you can go to fertilityfriend.com and begin charting. That along with ovulation predictors can be very helpful in letting you know when you are ovulating.

Let me know if you need more info in regards to charting your temps. I have been doing it since march and feel like Im a pro at it now

Are your cycles really long? Mine will go anywhere from 33-45 days. I start testing at cycle day 10 until I ovulate. It can get expensive with ovulation predictors so I use the Answer brand strips that have 20 in a pack. Just remember to test between 12-2pm and the line should be as dark or darker than the control line for it to be a . Good luck!

Mine goes anywhere from 31-37 days. So when you say cycle day 10, is that 10 days from the first day of your last period? Where do u find the Answer brand at?

Yes that would be the 10th day of your cycle. The 10th day starting with the first day of your period. Im not sure where you get the answer brand. I usually buy the internet cheapies from ebay.
