Q: Wanting to Conceive

I am 11 days late, but something tells me I am not pregnant. Plus I keep getting a BFN with HPTs. It took my husband and I 2 years to conceive our first child, which I delivered 4 months ago. My husband is going away for about 5 months January 3 and I want to try and conceive before he leaves. Any suggestions? An ovulation calendar worked with my son when I came across one, but it didn't work last month when I tried.

why not wait until he comes back? 5 months is a long time away from you when you are pregnant. he will miss 4 months of it. also, what if your ill? he can't be there to support you and i don't think it's very fair on him to miss out on your pregnancy, scans and even possibly the birth.
if you have had BFN then you are most likely not pregnant. your child is only 4 months old so you have plenty of time to concieve. my advice would be to wait until he comes back
good lcuk either way!

Are you breastfeading, because sometimes that can mess with your cycles. Also it does take a while for your cycles to get back on track...so Ive heard...

If you are still unsure about it, ask for a blood test.

And I agree with Becky, I would not want my husband to be away while I was pregnant. You need someone there to comfort you and just be there for you if you need him. Its not that far off.

I am not breast feeding and I am not on BC, my cycle started back up in July and I have gotten it evey 26 days until this month, which I am late for..
I do have a question though, if I just skipped this month for my cycle would it effect my ovulation? It is something that my husband and I have discussed.. His family lives close and we are currently staying with my family until he finishes BT and AIT for the Army, and then will be geetting our own house when he gets out through the Army..

HAVE YOU TRIED THE HOME OVULATION TEST THEY WORKED FOR FRIENDS OF MINE. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK MAYBE ITS GODS WAY OF TELLIN YOU TO WAIT. IT CAN BE ALOT OF STRESS WITH THE OTHER BABY NOT BEING THAT OLD. BUT I WISH YOU LOTS OF LUCK AN THE BEST TO YA'LL
