I have been on the pill, (ortho tri-cyclen for most of the time, and ortho-cyclen for a couple months), since a couple months before I got married, so I don't know what it's like to have a normal sex drive. So it's been almost 3 and a half years. What are some of the things that happen when one goes off the pill? Today I should start my active pills, and am considering to take a couple months off to see how it feels to be natural and normal again. What can I expect?

You will probably notice your sex drive will increase when you go off, as well, you may find your appetite may be less, and your period may be a bit out of wack, but other than that, everything should be normal. Congrats on getting married!

Just Got Off the Pill

I just got off the pill. I am not as hungry, but my sex drive didn't increase very much at all! : (

i came to this forum to ask if anyone has tried avlimil (a non-hormonal pill that is supposed to increase sex drive) or any creams. I have tried several creams. There are lots out there these days, but they are all expensive.... Was hoping to weed a few good ones out...
