Q: Horrible Cramps

i had my mirena coil removed yesterday to ttc and today i am having cramps. is this normal? could it be my period coming already or just a reaction to having it removed?

I would have to think that it would be because you are having a reaction to the coil coming out. My best friend told me, and several people on hear have said that they get bad cramps when they get it put in, so I could only imagine that it would make you have cramps when it comes out.

Then again, you never know what is going on with your body, so it could be af on her way. Have you ever had the coil taken out before?

yes i have had a coil taken out but i got one put in again straightaway. they have got better since i posted this so i guess it was a reaction
