i am 17 weeks and 2 days pregnant my last
period was between june 11th and june
18th. my due date is march 17th. i've
been told that my last period my not have
been a period but just early signs of
pregnancy. i just wanted to know if i
could have conceived the last week of may
or the first week of june. when i do the
pregnancy calculator it tells me that i
conceived between june 21st and june 25th.
but that doesn't explain me being 17
weeks if i conceived the week of the 21st.
but i know i had sex that week. i'm
confused?

Actually, the date of your last period
coincides perfectly with how far along you
are. Pregnancy is counted from the first
day of your last period. Therefore, the
first two weeks you are really not
pregnant. You become pregnant during week
3. Saying this, you have only been
pregnant for 15 weeks but you are
considered to be 17 weeks along. I know it
sounds crazy but that's how they do it.
