Q: Can I Have Sex While Pregnant?

Question i heard that if you have sex while pregnant your partner can break your water bag? and your hurting the baby? me and boyfriend both still want to have sex but we both think that were gonna hurt the baby...is this true?

You can have sex while you're pregnant, right up until you go into labor...unless your doctor orders you not to because of a high-risk pregnancy. There's no way your partner can break your baby's water bag, because your cervix protects your baby during pregnancy. Hope this helps! Smile

Your doc will tell you if it is too dangerous, but otherwise you can do anything you feel comfortable with!

they say you should have sex to start labor, but that's just to get your blood pumping, like LittleFlower said, your cervix protects basically everything. My sister had sex right up to the day before she went into labor, and her daughter's perfectly fine.

You can still have sex unless your dr tells you not to. If you have any concerns, talk to your OB. Your cervix protects your amniotic sac, not to mention the amniotic fluid that the baby floats around in.
