Q: Scrotum Sac Tightens For Some Reason?

I'm a 22 year old male. Slim, weight=114 lbs, height=5'4". This has been the worst year for me; normally I would only ever maybe get a slight cold for a week or so, but this year weird things have been happening.

Way back in January I fell ill with severe chest pains (heart was fluttering and nearly beating out of my chest), chronic fatigue (I was sleeping around 20 hours a day), light-headiness and no appetite at all; though I didn't lose much weight (maybe a couple pounds, if that). I went through many tests with my GP and eventually was sent to a Cardiologist. My GP said he saw a small mitral valve regurgitation and the Cardiologist said it may have been an infection that was messing with my thing-ma-jiggers (little pacemaker-like things on the heart).

Anyways, all that cleared up and I felt great for quite a while, then in late May, early June I started having stomach pains quite often (more so on the left side, near the rib-cage, but would sometimes radiate all over the abdomen, never in the back) with loose stool, regular visits to the toilet (never blood), along with headaches in the temple area that would normally only affect one side at a time and light-headiness. Went and saw my GP (a few times over the first month of this starting), did some small tests (urine, stool, blood), the only thing that came back was my hemoglobin was slightly lower than what was normal in most people. My GP said it wasn't low enough to worry about, it could be a normal level for me. It went on for about three to four months but now that seems to have gone away, I still get the odd cramping/ache and abnormal stool but I think that has to do with what I eat at the time. When I lost my appetite in January, I think my stomach shrunk, so I can intake as much as I used to yet.

Now this is the strange part (started happening back in July). My scrotum sac tightens up (the skin shrinks) randomly. It does it fairly quickly and I notice it happening when it does. There's no pain at all, it's just the skin tightens (like jumping into ice water). My testicles stay normal, my penis stays normal, I've felt for lumps and bumps but this is just strange. I notice it always happens when I need to *poop* and I try to hold it for a little while.

Any ideas what could be happening? Is this a common thing in men? I feel fine, I work, I'm somewhat active (I could spend a little more time away from the computer, lol), I'm a happy person, but I do have anxiety because I worry about a lot of stuff. I could eat more healthy (not that I eat bad foods, I just don't eat enough good foods).

Thankyou ever so much for reading my, what seems to be a never ending story, I appreciate any and all input. I know many will say go to my doctor anyways, which I will do, I'd just like to have some input from other people (some who may have the same symptoms) to point out to my GP.

it is normal for your scrotum to tighten at times .. your testes are just being pulled closer to your body. it's your body's way of protecting your boys.

True
Your scrotum tightens when the weather becomes colder and loosens when the weather becomes warmer, its your body's natural way of keeping your scrotum at the right temperature.
