Can anyone tell me about the birth control
YAZ? My doctor recently has prescribed me
to it.. for birth control.. and also for
PMDD...and I was wondering if anyone had
any horror stories to share about it
before I risked taking it.

I was on yaz for the past 3 months , no
major side effects , but i felt bloated
during the first month ..later months it
was fine . I did put on some pounds after
i started the pill ...which i guess is ok
(if u are not too conscious abt
weight...lol). One more thing that
happened to me was i use to feel very
cranky during my periods . But one good
thing tht happened to me was less pain
during periods . I didnt suffer any major
side effects but i recently stopped yaz
coz i didnt like the idea of taking some
pills with hormones.

I was on Yaz for about 6 months before my
husband and I decided to start ttc. I
absolutely loved it. It helped with minor
acne that I had and I didn't get the
headaches and cramps that I usually get
around my time of the month. It also made
my periods shorter and much lighter. I
liked it so well that I had my doc put me
back on it after I had my baby.
