*posting all in caps is considered yelling
on forums*
You should look into some parenting books
at your local library and possibly take
your son to see his pediatrician to rule
out anything that may be going on with him
medically.
To answer your question, no, it isn't
normal behavior. But that does not mean it
is wrong. Children start their 'terrible'
2's after their first birthday. He is
pushing you to see how far you will go.
I suggest comforting him when he starts to
behave this way. Always keep the same
limits and keep the same schedule.
Children need things to remain constant.
Same bedtimes. Same naptimes. Same feeding
schedule. Same rules. Etc.
There should be an extensive parenting
section at your local library.
Good luck!!

You don't have to appoligize to anyone.
You're a worried, busy mommy and don't
have time to worry about "oups! writing in
caps is bad"... Who ever the
<girlfriend> is, she thinks you're
not as "P. Diddy as her
anyway and who is busy getting her nails
done & on the internet most of the
time while you & I are actually naive
enough to think that coming on here would
give us any real peace of mind... You do
the best you can, because that's all you
can do. Your son IS NORMAL, he is behaving
like I'm sure many do (even though their
mommies say they are perfect.) I know you
are not the first to have this happen but
it seems that way to you. Talk to your
childs Dr. instead next time, & I
suggest you look up; What to expect The
Toddler years. Even though my son is only
6 months old, my girlfriend got me this
book for X-mas, she said it became her
bible with her daughter( who is now nearly
four).
The best to you & your little man.
