Iam 25yrs old man and have been stressing about whether i have herpes.

I had unprotected sex recently and within a week of this a small lump under the skin of my pubes formed, this then began to scab over - it was itchy.

I then developed some spots on my upper thigh containing a white / yellow liquid which were very uncomfortable.

I showed the GP these and he said it was a bacterial infection and gave me some tablets.

The spots then began to disappear and the scab on my pubes healed, I thought no more of it until now as i have been itching in the same region that this occurred before, is this a second stage??

No further lumps or spots have appeared but I have been worried all the same. Am i being paranoid??

Can you tell me what your thoughts are?

Many thanks

if the stuff the doc gave you worked then that sort of proves that they were right about it being bacterial, right? maybe it's just coming back. NOt that i'm an authority on the subject or anything, but that's just my guess.
