Ok with normal heartburn I would suggest a slice of bread and a large glass of milk and 2 tums, but I am not sure if it would help with pregnancy heartburn!

I would try bread, it will soak up the acid so it won't come back up, but it kinda sounds like acid reflux rather than heartburn.

Alright I tried that... We'll see..Its like contractions lol ..Cuz it happens every like 3-5 minutes it comes up and lasts like 20 secs. Water helps a little but the whole "me being pregnant" thing makes me pee a minute later..Awh geez..Whata mess...

Your getting bigger now, so you will be getting heartburn more often. What happens is thatthe baby is pushing up on your stomach, so it brings up the food. I had it for my son, and I already get it now for this one too. As far as taking anything I don't know, sorry

Molly i've had really bad acid reflux and heartburn also. I take tums most of the time (they are good for you and baby) it usually helps but when it gets really bad my doctor told me to take zantac or tagament. They are both over the counter. She just told me to only take those when it gets really bad. The tums usually help me though. I take them before and after I eat. I hope this helps and I hope you feel better! It sucks to feel that way!

Love ya.

I agree with the girls on this one molly, anything starchy is good for you, bread is best but if that is much try plain soda crackers, sorry youre hurting sweetie!!

My doc told me when I was preggy that I could take tums. And it is really good if you get the ones with calcium!!!!
