I'd suggest you invest in a bikini trimmer. They're not that expensive and it's painless, although you might need to go over the area with a razor afterwards, but it makes it easier than if you just shaved it.
The best way to do it if you want it to last a while is to get it waxed, and I dunno but they might be able to do it in different shapes. There's different types of waxing you can get, i.e. bikin line/brazilian. That's a painful procedure though, so it depends on how much pain you can put up with!
