Except I moved country 2 years ago and had to start all over. I still find it hard to adapt. You're not alone. I take it you moved... I found that in such a difficult stage of life that you have to start thinking positive thoughts in order for good things to start happening, otherwise the bad thoughts will run you into depression... like it did me. My counselor helped me through it though. I could suggest you see one too to perhaps help you through the transition. As for the friends thing... take it one step at a time. Baby steps. You don't want to get burnt by "bad friends..." Don't be so hard on yourself! Mistakes are there to be made and for us to learn from them. That's one good thing that came out of it I suppose. Turn it into a possitive. Hope it helps

Its just hard to make friends in such a small town, u know? Especially when i have 2 kids that take up so much of my time.

Are there groups that you could join where you would meet new people? Most areas have play groups for children and then you make friends with the parents. It's a start.

Mommy groups sound like a good idea... but the town i live in has a pop of less than 10,000 so its hard to find one.

lol nooo we have our own place in a town south of Peoria, IL called Washington.. MILs neighborhood tho.

we've actually gotten along really well! And ive been in a MUCH better mood since we moved here.
