usually confused and a lot of anxiety. i have to fight constantly with what i could be doing and then i think of a lot of good things. for instance i think about what i would do if i had a lot of power/money..... which sometimes its really hard to lock on to a thought and be able to explain it. which once i get on track i forget what i was thinking about and something new starts going.

I was so paranoid during my last manic episode I was convinced my employer was trying to fire me to take away my health insurance. I ended up quitting than coming back two weeks later after going into the hospital. I also had some other paranoid thoughts like that the girl who I had been dating who just broke up with me (nothing bipolar related her breaking up with me was what triggered the episode) was plotting with my friends to trap me. I also thought my parents were against me. Taken me about a year to get my life into somewhat order after that fiasco. Pretty much ruined my life for a year but what can you do but pick up the pieces and move on.

I have the rabid heartbeat but its probably also due to the fact I chain smoke when manic. Haven't had a full out attack in a year ever since the doc put me on Abilify knock on wood.

Why'd you stop medication? The abilify has been good for me very few side effects.

I guess if I didn't get psychotic with my paranoia I'd consider just living with the highs and lows. But I've totally lost it twice off medication and had to be hospitilized and ruined alot of friendships with the psychotic symptoms so I'll inhabit the world of blah....its better than the hospital.
