Q: Sore Painful...Thrush?

Embarassed I THINK i may have had thrush, ive been really really itchy down there. but i havent taken anything for it. this morning my boyfriend and i had sex. it hurt a fair bit. then afterwards when i was in the shower i was soo sore. my labia was so swallen and i was stinging all over. i opened up my labia.., and around my vagina whole was red itching and swollen. please help i need advice. Sad

Go to a doctor of course! That's the only way to get medicine to help yourself.

If it is a yeast infection, you can get medication at the drug store.

If it is. BUT- if you're not sure, you need to go to the doc, because treating a bacterial infection with yeast infection medicine will make it worse. Likewise, treating a yeast infection with antibacterials (medicine or soap) will make it worse.

If you're ever not sure, see your doctor.
