Frequent And Painful Diareah Posted: 10-05-07 19:35pm
As mentioned, I am a new college student
and have just been hit with the worse case
scenario. Even the first morning I woke up
in my new "home" I was hit with a serious
case of diareah. I hoped that was just a
one day deal but as time went by I've
actually come to expect it on a weekly
basis. At least once a week and usually
MORE I have diareah. I could blame my
lactose intolerance (lactose is common in
foods like lunch meat, bread, cereal etc
all things I ate frequently upon my
arrival) but I wonder and really fear that
there might be more. I fear that I might
have a bacterial problem but I don't want
to rush to the doctor. What are the
possibilities of a bacterial infection
causing periodic diareah?

I don't know. I wonder if you kept a food
journal if you could pinpoint what you
might be eating/drinking that may cause
this.

A bacterial infection is possible, but
there are a lot of other things as well.
IS this still happening? Is it worssening
or staying the same? Did it come on
suddenly or gradually over time?
