I am on depo at this time and due for my next shot on the 15th - but lately i have been having nausea and extremely tired, and I was wondering if these were just side effects of the shot wearing off with it being time for the next injection or is it possible that I might be pregnant?

If you are concerned about pregnancy, you should take a pregnancy test. The symptoms themselves are very vague and could be flu or something other than pregnancy.

Good luck!

If you were pregnant enough to have food aversions, it would show on a pregnancy test... Maybe you could get a blood test before your next shot?

It could be anything from depo side effects to pms to the flu. If you've been on time getting your shots, there's really no reason to worry about pregnancy. Usually the docs make you get your next shot before the last one has 'worn off'.

I had those side effects plus more. It was a side effect from being on it for over 2 years. I didn't have problems before that. Your shot won't wear off as long as you get the next one at the times they told you. Good luck! Hope you feel better Smile

Depo provera puts your body in a menopausal state, so you're bound to experience the symptoms you're having.

I have had a lot of negative side effects with depo, even though I have stopped it over the last 4 months it seems I am still getting side effects.

Any particular reason you're choosing depo provera? Make sure you do some reasearch and check out side effects, because there are some serious ones. Also if you're really that concerned then talk to your doctor.
