I started Loestrin about two-three months ago and it is my first birth control. As of the last two weeks my breasts haven't necessarily shrunk, but have gotten firmer. I've heard of them growing or shrinking, but never condensing! Is this normal?

Yep-

If you do monthly breast exams (which you should!) and do them at different times of the month (or different times in your cycle) You'll notice that your breast's will feel different- harder, softer, lumpier, whatever- at different times. Your breasts react to different hormones in your body, and that's probably what's happening. That's why they suggest to do your breast exams at the same time every month, like during your period, so that you'll be able to compare the feeling better.

Does that make sense?

Yeah, I Figured That...
And I do keep track of that, but this is out of the ordinary for any time of the month. There isn't a lump necessarily, but as if all the tissue condensed to make them firmer overall.

Oh good for you!

Still, though, this is a new hormone level that your body is still getting used to, so new changes in your breasts is to be expected. I bet it's just from that. Seems normal to me. If it bugs you, I'd wait a few months to see if it goes away, otherwise switch to a different pill
