I Can Not Clean My House!!!

Today is absolutely insane. I can't clean
my house because every time I finish
something and start something else I turn
around to discover that Chu has managed to
undo whatever I've just done. I feel like
I'm running in a neverending marathon
right now. We've got people coming in
like an hour and a half and I still have
to pick up Miguel from work and cook
dinner. I'm seriously thinking about
ordering takeout and throwing everything
that's lying about into the trash. Would
make my life simpler... Ah well, the joys
of a 1 1/2 yo. *sigh* I just keep
telling myself to enjoy him even when he's
driving me nuts because he won't be little
forever.
Mad respect to everyone that has more than
one of the little dirt hurricanes.  I
admire your fortitude.

lol i totally know how u feel.. when we
were packing, i swear to GOD every box i
filled the kids went behind me and dumped
it out. It was sooooo irritating. And when
i pick up toys they're back on the floor
within seconds. I cant ever get anything
done.

yeah, he just found the dried cranberries
that were in the bottom of my buffet and
threw them on the floor while i went to
make a cup of tea. I cancelled with our
guests. I told them I was sick. I got
the idea after reading your post. hehe.
They didn't seem too upset about
rescheduling.

girl get miguel to watch Chu while u go
out and get a Vanilla Coolata from DD and
go to a book store and read. That totally
calms me down when i've had a stressful
day. I gave up on the hot baths when Caty
learned to crawl because i constantly had
fingers under the door and heard *mommy?!*
every two seconds til i got out.

I bought a book and a gallon of sweet tea
today at the drugstore. I just laid Chu
down in his room. I know he isn't going
to take a nap but I need a break. I'm
about to go lay down on the couch in my
filthy living room and drink tea and read
my book until it's time to pick up miguel.
Better yet I think I'll tell him to take
the bus today. His job is like ten blocks
from the house...he can take a bus for one
day.

this is every day for me. this place is a
wreck and it's so overwhelming i don't
even know where to begin.
i have to do some serious deep cleaning
next week because we have a lot of
relatives coming in for the wedding.
i'm not looking forward to it.

lol i started going thru this a couple of
weeks ago. I see that it only gets worse
I clean..Mel goes behind me and messes
back up. I pick up the DVDs...she goes
right back over there, laughs and drags
them down again! I need higher shelfs!

Kaylee's favorite thing to do is after I
get done folding laundry, she'll find some
way to get into that laundry basket &
drag everything in it across the entire
house! I've been trying all week to get
this place cleaned up for her birthday
party Saturday because it's going to be
the first time a lot of mine & Shane's
family sees this place since it's been
done.. It seriously looks like I've just
been sitting around all week long! I wish
I could hire a maid!

lol it does sound fun but I'm thinking
Shane's family & mine wouldn't
appreciate that haha! I've gotten pretty
used to waiting until Kaylee goes to bed
though & staying up til 2am
cleaning... Wears me out but I love waking
up in the morning to a nice clean house!

no haha have the cleaning party a day or
so before the real party. Have a couple
friends come over to help do some major
cleaning while maybe mom or dad watches
Kaylee. Then buy them a pizza and soda
afterwards as a thank you.
trust me its fun.

I went to go pick up Miguel after all. I
don't have the energy to clean up once Chu
goes to bed. I normally just pass out on
the couch until it's time for me to go to
bed. I did read a little of my book and
drink tea until it was time to pick him up
so I feel better. Chu's eating dinner
late today and he's having canned ravioli
because I didn't cook. I feel kind of bad
about it, but not bad enough to cook.
Me
and Miguel are definitely going to have
takeout. Yay!!! Then I'm taking a bubble
bath once Chu goes to bed and hopefully
tomorrow I'll be able to tackle the house.
I just hope he takes a nap tomorrow.

ah yes the case of the tazmanian devil i
have 2 of those the whole upstairs their
room the hallway the loft the stasirs the
front room(their play area) and the
dinning room and the living room that is
how bad all of it is their
toys/books/clothes ugh i never seem to get
it all clean. never ending as soon as i
clean it they mess right behind me drives
their older sis up the wall cause they go
into her domain watch out for them when
she catches them yikes.

He's napping!!!!!!! Yes!!!! I can't
decide what to do first!! Maybe the
dishes!!! The kitchen's getting a little
funky cuz it's hot and the dishes from all
day yesterday are still in the sink....

I'm in the process of cleaning. I don't
have Aidan yet (my aunt was going to bring
him at 8am, it's now nearly
11:30am....would have been nice to know so
I could have slept in)
I'll take Chu for you and you can clean!!
As long as you take Adriana so I can
finish! She's usually pretty good with not
thrown toys all over, but she likes to sit
at the dog dish and hand feed them, and
then when they're full she throws it

K!!!!
I ONLY clean when Oni naps. The she wakes
up & DESTROYS it again. While Baron
bathes her, I'll clean again.
She's really good at helping me clean up
during the day. But after that "acitivity"
is over, she pulls them alllll out of the
bin again!!! lol!
It's basically POINTLESSSSS!!
