Did you find out what you were having? One of my books said that the doctor can tell if it's a boy or girl at 14 weeks. That sounds too early to me. Is it true?

14 weeks is quite early and they cannot always tell. 18-22 weeks is a better time frame for determining sex via ultrasound.

sex is evident at 12 weeks but not by ultrasound.Thats what ive read so i guess that means if you have a miscarriage or something and they are hold your babythey can see what it was at 12 weeks? the earliest an ultrasound can tell is 16 weeks i believe but its more obvious at 18-22 weeks. I was 18 weeks with my first ultrasound with macy and 20 weeks with liam

hmmm....that's what I thought. I have my next appointment next Friday, so I think I was just getting my hopes up. I just want the next step to come, then the next and I hate waiting.

I didn't find out what I was having until 2 weeks before Kaylee was born, she just wouldn't cooperate! So don't get your hopes up *too* high!
