I usually don't lurk on baby or pregnancy threads, but I thought I would let you know that these type of pictures are great. Not just for now, when you have your baby with you, but for the future. I am older and the kids are grown and I wish we would have taken more pictures at each stage of our kids' lives.

Nothing gives me more pleasure now than to look back at the pictures and movies we do have because, as you will find out, life tends to get in the way as they grow older. The teenage years are difficult to even get pictures except for school pictures or vacations. A lot of times we didn't think of group pictures with our kids.

Digital cameras are awesome because you can have CD-Roms full of pictures you take. When my dad died a few years ago, we inherited a houseful of pictures, some of which I had never seen. I decided to take all these pictures and scan them into my computer and burn CD-Roms for our entire family--grandmother, uncles, aunts, brother, sisters, etc. We also made one section just pictures of me, my wife and kids (a sort of family history for us).

Here is another idea I wish I would have thought back when we had a one-year old. Some families take a yearly group shot of the family on the same date (like Christmas) and in the same place every year. The ones I've seen are great because they show the family growing and aging right before your eyes. I guess the lesson is to get a digital camera if you don't have one and start taking those pictures before it's too late.

Thanks soooo much everyone!! I just want to show everybody!! Our last professional photoshoot (When we went to Kmart to get her Easter ones done) was a disaster so I'm just tickled that these pictures are so good! It was so hard to pick which ones to order because I only went that day with $40, but I ended up ordering some of the 2nd one down & some of the 2nd one from the bottom! I bet I stood there for a half hour just staring at all the pictures because I couldn't decide. I wanted them all! But I think I'm going to order some more because now that I keep looking at them I really really like a few more of them!

wow they came out so cute! Well the fact that shes freaking adorable helps lol! With JcPenneys they always have like 4 extra ones you can purchse for $15. and they werent ones i had ordered when i went. i dont know if they do now but i always hated how they dont sell their pics on cds.

If I remember right ( My mind is mush today ) I think they said they can do the cd's but I'm pretty sure they were not cheap at all.. But it was nice because I got an email this morning saying the pictures were on the website so I could view them & order more & it let me download all of them onto my computer so I could show people. I don't actually go pick them up until the 11th!
