Q: Does This Constitute As Missing a Pill?

hello! I have been taking microgestin fe 1/20 for about a month now and i have forgotten to take the pill three times now... well i have been late at takin it i guess. the first time i was a half an hour late taking it the second an hour and a half. Bit i am worried about today because i took my pill today 4 hours late.I am supposed to take the inactive brown pills the day after tomorrow.what should i do? and what is a missed pill how late can you be before i pill is considered missed?

A pill is not late until 6 hours have passed, so the 30 minutes pill was not late, nor was the second one. Today's you could almost consider late but really, you're perfectly fine.

You haven't done *anything*, that's what I'm saying Smile Only the last one with 4 hours is something to even get concerned about, and only then if you did *that* 3 days in a row!

I wanted to add that you are not considered LATE unless you miss the pill by 12 hours or more. Smile

thank you so much for the help... i have asked around but my friends are all on different kinds of bc pills and i wanted to who was right since i got all kinds of differnt answers from them and i wanted to know if the answer changed because of the kind of pill you took...

For the most part, if you are on a combined hormone pill (which most are) they're all more or less the same. But it's always good to check on the directions that came with your pill pack just in case.
