Depressed :/

Everyone says I'm always the girl who can make anyone smile even when there down but yet I can't smile when somethings wrong in my life. I always try & try & never give up but I'm tired of trying my hardest & nothing happens. I always go out of my way for people & for once I would just want something good to happen in my life. I have all this anger from things that happened in the past & its just building inside & from time to time I just cry out of no where because I don't know what to do. I have had suicidal thoughts but never actually thought of doing it. I'm just so confused & don't know what to do.

My mom was abused by my dad & if I ever ask her anything about him she bursts & starts yelling at me, I kinda understand that but she gets more aggressive because of that. I can't really trust my friends, I get teased because somehow people know about my home situation. Not to mention I always get cheated on by my boyfriends so I just get so mad.

Okay. Well...i cant really relate to much of that other than the trust issues because i myself know what you mean...but you have to remember, they're you're friends...they're supposed to be there for you and you're supposed to be there for them. My advice is you find at least one person who you can share things with, i know you want to, i know that even knowing that theres someone you can talk to makes the difference.

As for your mother...i know it may not be the best advice....but you should probably leave her alone until you're a bit older...then you HAVE to talk to her about it, its something that shes going to live with for the rest of her life, and shes going to have to get over the fact that it's in the past.

For the teasing, my advice is to just try as hard as you can to ignore it...words dont have power unless you give it to them.

Now for the boyfriends...Look....boys your age are stupid. They know what they want and dont want to stop until they get it. If you're lucky you'll find someone, but if someone is going to cheat on you...they're asses and didn't deserve you in the first place.

Boys your age are probably dumbasses. I'm one of the "smart boys" and I've never had a girlfriend as a result!

Don't Stress Out

I agree with foodradio, ask your mother about her bad experiences when you're old enough to consider yourself a woman, so that you'll be able to avoid those experiences. Wait to ask her when you're older. As for an outlet for anger, keep doing art, maybe talk to a school counsellor if necessary, and pm us ehealth members!

Your counsellor spreads your personal info across the school? That's terrible. My counsellor promised to keep anything we talked about during our meetings confidential but I have a feeling she let some stuff out to at least all my teachers. Once I saw my counsellor randomly talking to my bio teacher. My old chemistry teacher told me that all the science teachers talk about me during their lunch hours. This random physics teacher I didn't even know went up to me and asked "So you're the famous Roger?". I dunno, at least my personal stuff isn't going all over the student body.

Yea, boys your age are stupid. Especially if they'd cheat on you.
Your counselor should not be able to tell anyone anything you tell her, or she would lose her job.
The basis of friends is trust. Ignore all of those comments about you. You know you and noone else does. And that is their loss.

I know she tells my teachers but some how everyone knows, like thats why I get teased, Im considered "popular" but like last year they found out what happened to my mom when I was little so they teased me about that.
