I have been having problems finding a doctor who can or will treat my rare condition, and I hope someone can help.

·I am an 18 year old, living near London in England.
·For my body, masculinity and my sexual organs, I have had a delay in development. And my hormones are not normal for an 18-year-old. I have had a constitutional delay.
·My growth ratio is very off, my trunk (mid-section/body) is 4 inches short. Making my arms and legs as long as a person who is 6ft2, whilst I am only 5ft10. My spread is 4 inches longer than my height.
·I lack primary sexual development and have not had any growth since 12 years of age.
·I have no sexual function, and have not developed secondary sexual characteristics. There is very little male development of my sexual organs, face and body.
·I have had hormone tests and I have excess E2 levels by a factor of 2 and marginal testosterone levels.
·I was able to do a fertility test, and it resulted in a 2% viable level, my spermogensis is marginal. I only consisted of 2% functional sperms.
·My condition is causing me considerable emotional problems, as I lack the development of my peers and have a disproportionate body. Crying or Very sad

I cannot be seen by a general endocrinologist, student, intern or a recent resident. This will not solve my problem.

I have not been able to find an endocrinologist to help me with my condition, as most adult endocrinologist specialists do not deal with growth issues. Since a pediatric endocrinologist commonly treats these issues, I am seeking one that can take my case. But I am 18, and pediatric endocrinologist care for children under the age of 16. Does anyone here know one who may specialize in my case regardless of my age?

I am seeking an, "Endocrinologist with a professional focus on adolescent constitutional delay & delayed puberty with a lot of experience.” My body has never left adolescence and I need treatment before my final growth years are over. Does anyone know of one really experienced and rated doctor?

I have serious problems with my body and I wholeheartedly believe that I need to be seen by an endocrinologist who has a speciality in growth problems. I need to urgently see a growth/delay specialist. My situation is rare and that I need to see and be under the care of someone who consists of a lot of experience. I need to see an endocrinologist who has years of experience within constitutional delay, growth problems and pubertal delay.

My primary care doctor is trying to find a doctor to help me, but so far she has been unsuccessful. I have been consulting an American pharmaceutical researcher who specializes in endocrinology and have learned that I need help with my development problems as soon as possible. If you can, can you please send me a referral to a genuinely top, experienced and caring doctor within London or whichever location it may be, that can help?

(I am seeing my doctor, but I must do my own research to help myself. This way I can ask my doctor to get me in contact with the doctor(s) I find).

Please, I am terrified... Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

-Never had an erection, no morning/night erections...
-Face looks younger...
-Body is disproportionate...

(Hope this helps understand better...)

If you go to see a general endocrinologist, can't they refer you to someone who would be able to better help you? I'm not sure how it works over there across the pond. It definitely sounds like a hormonal issue that really needs to be checked out. I'd go to whatever doctor would see me and ask them to refer me to someone if they can't help.

the endo i saw said its in my mind, and said my hormones are ok, he basically disagreed with my research, what my dr said, and a friend helping me from america (educated in this).

so i av done my own search, and i am hoping to see Dr Richard Graham Stanhope or Prof Mehul Tulsidas Dattani. Any one has any knowledge of these 2 drs? or can recommend,,

Hmmm, one of those doctors would helpp. I'm sure you could prescribe some drugs to enhance development. I'm only young so I'm not too sure.

I think you might have Klinefelter, or arachnidism. I don't think i spelled arachnidism right, but it sounds like it and comes from the word that means spider: arachnid. google it.
