So as you all know I was pregnant and due around August 17th or 18th. Well I had my little boy on August 17th and my fiance and I named him Jeffery Daniel he weighed 9 pounds and 1 ounce at 11:01 p.m. My water broke the morning of the 17th at 3:30 and oh man was I suprised I had no idea what I was suppose to feel when that had happened so here I was leaking fluids and telling my fiance we needed to go because after my water had broke I started to have contractions that were around 6 minutes apart. He thought I was dreaming and told me to go back to sleep and we would go to the hospital at 7 well what happened next was that I ended up calling my mom to bring me to the hospital because he wouldnt. So my mom and I got to the hospital and I was admitted right away they told me I could have the baby any time. What happens 20 hours pass and I am still in labor and doing it all natural so around 10:30 that night they checked me to see how far dialated I was and I was only 3 cm dialated and 100 % effaced. Omg talk about long time I felt like I was going to die. I had to make the choice that I didnt want to do and that was I needed to have a C-section so they took me in and out came Jeffery at 11:01 pm. everyone keeps asking me if I want to have another baby and I tell them with the trouble with the C-section I can wait three years before doing it again. but just letting everyone know i am back

Congratulations on your little boy! I'm sorry about the C-section but glad everything worked out OK in the end. That is my nightmare, to spend hours laboring and not progress, only to need a C-section in the end. I'm not planning on a natural birth though. I say bring on the drugs!

congrats on your lil boy!!!

Don't feel down on yourself about how it turned out.

Your baby was prob just TOO big to descend into your pelvis! 9lb1oz ISN'T tiny! lol!

Reguardless, yall are all doing good and soon the experience will be a BLURRR!!

Maybe next time you can have the labor/birth you've always wanted!!

Hi
congratulations on having a baby boy

sorry about having to have a c-section

I am glad that everything turned out ok

I would hate for it to happen to me
(20 hours) i would not be able to cope.

When i was giving birth to my son 2 years
ago i was only in labour for 7 hours.
