I went to the doctor today because my period is late, it's been 44 days since my last one. They did a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. However, the doctor said that does not mean that I am not pregnant. She said that maybe there's just not enough hCG in my urine yet. She wants me to get a blood pregnancy test done for hCG, Beta Subunit, Qualitative and a hCG, Beta Subunit, Quantitative. Does anyone know anything about the difference between these two? If I don't have enough hCG in my urine does that mean that this pregnancy(if that's what it is) might not be viable?
