Girlfriend Pregnant?
Posted: 10-03-07 11:04am

My girlfriend who is 17 last got her period around August 20th and it ended on August 26th. On August 25th we were in the shower where I definitely remember ejaculating on the shower wall, but I'm also positive that I didn't get anything on my hand. I did finger her though. I just feel that I'm very careful and would have known if I had any semen on my hand.

Within 9 days after the shower she said she wasn't feeling good. She was feeling stomach aches, and headaches. That all went away and then she got a cold that lasted about 4 days.

She says her periods are crazy and jump around but she started to get really worried and almost sick to her stomache at the thought of being pregnant. Especially since we've never had sex.

Fastforward to yesterday which was about 44days since her last period. We decided to do 2 EPT's and both said not pregnant. I told her not to drink water before doing it and she said she drank some pop.

She just found out that her friend has mono and she said that she is always drinking out of her water or anything during school.

I know it's a slim chance, but we are both paranoid, but what are the chances of her being pregnant.

Not. If your penis did not enter her. And no semen got inside her - then how would she be pregnant?

Pregnancy symptoms do not show up so early either. Most women do not get any symptoms until their period goes missing.

She has also had 2 negative tests. Relax.

Don't ever forget to USE CONDOMS.

she was concerned that maybe I did have some on my hand.

I'm banking on the fact that getting a cold and maybe having mono and along with stress would be delaying her period. She said that she was freaking out when she had to take her license test.

Add to that she has irregular periods to begin with and you have a recipe for a late period. Fear of pregnancy, stress, illness, all those things can cause a late period - and her periods are all over the place anyway.

Please invest in birth control. Sex is way more fun when you can enjoy it without fear of pregnancy! Smile

and the fact that we didn't even have sex is what really makes me believe that she's ok, but I just feel like with my luck she'd end up getting pregnant from being fingered

I also read where people say EPT's pregnancy test is not very accurate which also makes me worry

I know you are afraid. I'm sure she is afraid. SHE IS NOT PREGNANT!

She is stressed out. She has been ill. She has an irregular cycle. SHE IS NOT PREGNANT.

You could have bought the pregnancy test at the dollar store. Women do not get pregnant in the shower without having sex. Your sperm is not Super Duper Sperm that somehow, miraculously attached to your finger and then found it's way inside her when you touched her. (but you said you KNOW you didn't get any on your hand)

Also, a little about ovulation in women: most women ovulate 14 days BEFORE their next period. Although that can vary from woman to woman and some women have been known to get pregnant while on their period. The chances of her ovulating AND your sperm magically finding their way to the egg are so low that both of you should believe the first pregnancy test and stop worrying about things that don't exist.

EPT's are very accurate. Where did this come from? I highly doubt she is pregnant. I haven't heard of (correct me if I'm wrong) ANYone getting pregnant by cause of fingering.

ok so it's been about 52 days since her last period on aug 20th and still no period we also took 2 more first response tests because we're still kind of freaking out.

Is it possible that her period could have just skipped instead of delayed and will hopefully come around Oct 20th?

Also if she was pregnant wouldn't she be feeling a little differently?

She said she feels normally just still freaking out about not getting her period.
