This is kinda following on from a question
I asked the doctor on the orthopaedics
page, a few months ago.
Since then the pain has got much worse and
Im now on Tramadol, paracetamol and
Diclofenec Gel to rub in... (only got it
yesterday, so not sure it's working yet).
I am just so fed up of this pain... Im not
sure how much longer I can cope with it,
and the best (or worst) thing is, that the
doc doesnt know what it is.... I am to
have an MRI scan on my back this month, as
it is possible that i have wear and tear
of a disc in my spine, that is squashing
the nerve, and manifesting in my foot,
sometimes I just want to cut it off....

Like I
said it's got worse, and different
footwear also worsen it... the constant
symptoms are tingling/numbness in my
toes/front part of foot, occassional
burning, and a tightness from the ball of
my foot right along behind my toes... a
new symptom I have is when you squeeze
(not that I intentionally squeeze my foot)
the foot from just behind the ball of the
foot side to side, that is incredibly
painful too....
Three years ago, I had surgery to remove a
Mortons Neuroma from the same foot, and
hoped that would have been the end of pain
in that foot, now I have something that is
10 times more painfull, and is never
ending!
I would have liked to have asked this to
the DOCTOR but cannot figure out how to do
it...
When they get the results of the MRI, how
will they tell if the problem IS coming
from my back (bearing in mind. I've had no
back pain), and if it isnt what then? am I
going to be in pain forever?? I refuse to
give in to the pain, I love horse riding
and dog walking, it's more bearable to
keep moving on it than it is to stand
still on it. But it's at night that I am
more aware of it....
Thanks for reading, even if you cant help!
