I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend exactly one week and one day before my period was due. My period did not come. I am now 3 days late and that's not normal for me. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Could i still possibly be pregnant? Is one week before your period is due a fertile time for women? I just don't have anyone to talk to about this kind of stuff so i found this forum.

You could be pregnant. No one can say for sure when you ovulated, so we wouldn't know when you could have become pregnant. Are you always regular? Ovulation occurs 14 days before your next period. But if you don't have a regular cycle, that method doesn't work well. If you are not trying to become pregnant, there are many options for birth control. Take another test in a few days if your period hasn't started. Good luck!

There is always a possibility if you are having unprotected sex. The only way that you will know is if you take a pregnancy test once you miss your period.
