About a month and a half ago i had
unprotected sex with a woman... About
three days after i noticed that my
urethral meatus looked a little puffy on
one side (it looks uneven because one side
is higher than the other). I looked at it
in the light and noticed that it looked
irritated.
Part of the meatus was really red and
looked almost like there was a cut. I have
NOT experienced any pain in urination and
the irritated part of the meatus is NOT
painful at all. I DON'T feel any
tenderness or soreness in my testicles
either. I DID noticed that every now and
then i do feel a pinching feeling in the
eurethra that lasts for a couple seconds
and goes away.. But i have only
experienced this maybe 4 or 5 times since
and it didn't really cause me any
discomfort. Also back when i first got
this I did feel like i had to urinate
frequently and i did have feelings like my
penis was discharging something but when i
would go to the bathroom and look, nothing
ever came out. The frequent urination and
the feeling of discharge only occured the
week after i noticed the redness and has
not returned since. Part of me thinks that
i got all OCD after i noticed the redness
but.....
I went and got tested for HIV, Syphilis,
Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia. All tests came
back negative.
at the same time I noticed a few little
white nubs around the corona (not sure
what to call them.. they are thin, white
and small, they look almost like Pearly
Penile Papules and they aren't painful
either.
Any suggestions?
i've looked up stuff online and pretty
much all UTI's and most STDs involve pain
while urinating, some irritation,
discharge, and/or abdominal pain. I've
also seen on other boards of people who
had similar redness on the meatus but they
all had abdominal pain and tender/sore
genitals whereas i only have the
redness/irritation. Those people also
tested negative for std's and uti's and
they came back negative as well.
any ideas?? some sort of fungus maybe???
an irritation to a new axe body gel maybe
( i just started using it around the same
time)? Reiters??

Hey there man, sounds like if i explained
what went on with me, you nailed it on the
button. Kinda starting to drive me nuts.
I went to the doctor and he just diagnosed
it with a sort of can't figure it out
infection and gave me this cream to treat
it with. Was suppose to go away within 5
days, and it somewhat did. Its not
totally a fixed problem with me and i'm
looking for more answers on it before i go
back to the doctor and such. How did your
problem turn out, or did you get any other
feedback on this?

Hey Posted: 10-29-07 20:29pm
they wouldn't let me keep my last screen
name for some reason well.. Good to know
i'm not the only one who has had this
problem.
So yeah man..i went to a doctor last week
(thursday) for a physical and I told him
about the redness.. I told him about how i
was tested back in september and how they
came back negative.. so he looked at it
and he told me it didn't look like any std
or urethritis he had ever seen...
he also gave me the "can't figure it out"
look and said that he thinks it is a
fungus of some sort, so he prescribed me
Miconazole Nitrate 2% to apply on it... So
far i haven't noticed any difference....
Other than your response and what the
doctor told me...seems like we are in a
similar situation. Anything i've tried to
look up online leads me nowhere. Is your
problem fixed yet? any updates?

Hi Guys, Same Problem Here. Posted: 11-10-07 20:39pm
I was in brazi, i had sex with many girls
there all protected, but received
unprotected oral sex from 3 girls. When
came back to the states i had persistent
itching of the foreskin, used
hydrocortisone 1% and it was gone
immediately. Now after 2 weeks i noticed a
small bright red cut like line on the very
very tip of the penis only the right side.
Other then that everything is ok, no
discharge, doesn't hurt itch or anything
like that, any news on your condition?

thats what mine looks like..only the cut
(like a line) is on the left side and then
a smaller one on the right side... still
no itching/discharge/pain... just that
redness..
The miconazole still hasn't done anything
to make it go away, and I had already
tried hydrocortisone (it didn't work
either).
I just had some more bloodwork done and
everything was ok.
I'm scheduled to go see a dermatologist
later this month so hopefully he can
figure it out.

Hi.
I have the same story tell. Broken condom
during sex - not I itch like crazy.
My urethra looks red and sometime I have
to urinate urgently. I also have a red,
itchy irritated area on my foreskin.
I have had 4 complete STD screens - all
negative. I have also had around 10
courses of antibiotic to try to cure this.
I am convinced there is a new bug in town
and it cannot be easily detected by
culture.
TOO MANY PEOPLE WITH SAME STORY - BIT

Same thing here...has anyone figured out what this is?? Posted: 04-10-08 16:09pm
I've been looking on the net for answers
and you guys seem to have the same
symptoms I am going through. Did you guys
ever figure out what it was or did it ever
get better? Please advise. Thanks.
get some monstat-cream and use it
according to the directions...
the redness is where your skin is getting
raw--hense the pinching/painful burning
itching. The little red-line/cut-like
mark on you is where your skin is
splitting/breaking apart from the yeast
infecting it and making it raw

Possible Prostatits???? Posted: 05-02-08 08:43am
I have the same sort of Puffy Urethra. A
few months ago i had a sore testicle and
some abdominable pain so i went t a
urologist. He asked me if i had always
had a puffy utrethral, and i stated i
hadn't. I have had unprotected sex a few
times with differente partners in the last
few years, but my wife actually went into
consultation with me, so I don't know if
the doctor held back on further questions
to avoid any troubles for me. I was
diagnosed however with prostatitis. I am
only 28 and the doctor said this was
uncommon for someone my age, and doing a
little research i learned that this
condition could be a result of some STD's.
He never sent me to get any blood exams,
only urine exams and it showed that i had
no infections. I still maintain a puffy
urethra all the time, and some times it
burns slightly but hardly ever. I really
don't know what to do about it.
Any recomendations??

I have the same symptoms! I have a little
puffyness on one side that is kinda
connected with skin to the other side.
Have had it for 6 months now with no
answers after frequent trips to the
urologist. We need to keep this thread
going until someone has an answer!

Possible chronic gonorreah or clamydia ? Posted: 06-20-08 01:52am
I have the same symptoms. I have not had
sex in the past 2 years hence why I am
puzzled. I have a small scar on the left
side of my meatus, but apart from that I
do not have any other discomforts such as
discharge, pains or itching sensation. But
I have experienced that pinching sensation
that the first user described which lasts
a couple of seconds, doesnt occur very
often though.
While urinating did you feel you were
discharging something in your urine when
you were about to finish urinating because
the last urine that comes out when I
urinate appears cloudy but does not give
me any physical discomfort.
