My name is jackie, I am 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I went to the doctor yesterday for the first time. The doctor performed a vaginal ultrasound on me, they located the baby, but there was no heartbeat, and the doctor said my baby had died. My doctor is trying to get me to do a d&c. I have to talked to other people, and they say, you can't hear the heartbeat this early. I've talked to other people and they say that doesn't mean the baby has died. The weird thing is that I haven't had any problems, I haven't had any cramping, and i'm not even bleeding. Has anyone had this problem?

Hello,

I understand what you are going through, however I think this person who did a vaginal ultrasound or uncapable to hear an heartbeat. This doesnt mean that your baby has die. Your baby is still alive and you recently just said that you have no sign of miscarriage. However you wont be able to hear a heartbeat til 8-10wks. If you would like to get a new person to do the whole thing, you can though. Dont be afraid to get a new doctors and stuff liek that. I hope I helped
