Hey, I have not had my period for around a year and a half because i have been on the Depo Needle. i was due for another shot on the 12th of september but idecided to go off it, i just got my period today and its really dark like nearly black, i think its because its all built up so its old blood but today i feel really weak i have no energy and had a really bad headache so this dark blodd really worried me, any ideas...?

No period built up when you were on Depo. You would have died from it rotting and eating your uterus. Getting off of Depo simply causes odd things to happen. If you are concerned, please call your gynocologist!

If it is really nasty and smells (even with your clothes on), that could be a sign of an infection or another internal problem. Dark colored blood is normal for old blood, and sometimes happens during our period. And depo does cause odd things to happen.
