Q: Dark Period on the Depo Needle - old blood or what?

Hey, I have not had my period for around a year and a half because i have been on the Depo Needle. i was due for another shot on the 12th of september but idecided to go off it, i just got my period today and its really dark like nearly black, i think its because its all built up so its old blood but today i feel really weak i have no energy and had a really bad headache so this dark blodd really worried me, any ideas...?

No period built up when you were on Depo. You would have died from it rotting and eating your uterus. Getting off of Depo simply causes odd things to happen.

If you are concerned, please call your gynocologist!

If it is really nasty and smells (even with your clothes on), that could be a sign of an infection or another internal problem.

Dark colored blood is normal for old blood, and sometimes happens during our period. And depo does cause odd things to happen.

Toilet and period

I have have the depo needle 4 times and sometimes still get a period for bout 5 days,is that normall?
For last month i have had to go to the toilet more often,i went to me doctor and told me bout it so he sent a test to see if i had a bug or something but it came back nothing.He said i would get pregnant to the depo,help u help?
sometimes i have a bad smell,my partner cant smell it but i can.

I used to get dark blood and than it would turn normal when I was on the pill. This is my first Depo needle, and I got spotting (doctor said this was normal) it is dark brown and stuff. Don't be worried it happens to alot of people.
