Suffer from Dental Anxiety. Been prescribed 5mg Valium,to relax me Will it make me Sleepy. Worried i'll loose control of myself & the appointment

Any alprazalam or equvilent will make you sleepy. Especially when you first start it. Once you body gets use to it, you might not be as sleepy. I would caution you as I am sure your doctor would, be careful driving, operating machinery,etc till you know how it is going to effect you. In other words my firend "Be Careful". Good luck, it is a narc so only take as directed! Hugs
