I
received mri results today of my cervical
spine and apparently they found something
in my spinal cord but the "impression" is
this: no definite acute pathology. No
conclusive evidence of a disc herniation.
I also had a mri of my lumbar spine as
well. The "impression" is this: no acute
pathology identified. No evidence of a
disc herniation. Could this mean that
they arent sure on the cervical? The
reason I ask this is I have been in pain
for months. Nothing the doctors have
prescribed or therapy has helped. Im
getting a litte frustrated at "test
results". There has to be a reason. I
have a family, I work for a living and im
tired of being miserable. I just want to
feel better.

Apparently you are suffering from pain in
the nape of neck, both or one of the
shoulders, arms etc. That is usually
because there is compression of the nerves
traversing out of the spinal cord by the
disc herniating out from between the
cervical bones. Sometimes even when there
is no evidence there could be still
compression of the nerve fibres not
necessarily by the disc herniation and you
could suffer from the pain. This neck
pain is also referred by people suffering
from migraine and tension headaches.
More symptomatology of the patient is
required to narrow down on the cause of
the problem and all the above three
probabilities can be easily treated by
homeopathic medicine in relieving the pain
and preventing the recurrence.

From what you've read, it means they have
found nothing from the medical perpective,
that they could either cut out of you or
mend with wire. I know the pain is not
in your mind and I agree with the other
doctor that there is nerve root
compression. This is a chiropractic
specialty and they can help to safely
remove the pressure.
