Hey everyone,

Just thought I would update you all on what has been going on with me.
I have only been going on like 5 minutes a day. last sunday I got a lil puppy named Bella, 7 weeks old, and she is a pitbull. Very sweet, and shes been keeping me very busiy. Now for my baby news...
So I went to my friends house thursday and I told her I was pregnant, her mom is a Adula, and she has a portable little ultrasound thing. My friends mom did an ultrasound, Im 6 weeks, well thats what they she toled me. You couldnt see to much but it was so amazing, just a tiny little penut.
The bad news is I have been feeling very sick lately. Crying or Very sad I get some bad stomach pains. The next time I go back to my friends house her mom is going to check me out. Very Happy

Yes I toled my mom. My dad enicially kicked me out but I refused to leave the house and sat outside for 5 hours. They even kicked my puppy bella out with me.
My mom finnaly came out and we talked for a really long time it ended with tears and a hug. It was very emotionaly draining.

...PS. Today is me and chas's 1 year aniversery.
My mom is going to try and get me an appt monday. SOO I guess we will see.

Congrats on the pregnancy you sound quite excited, any plans for your anniversary?

Are you sure that you may not be further along? If you had missed a period I doubt you would have been 2 weeks along when you took the test considering 2 weeks is conception point you'd have gotten a positive and missed a period just days after conception... eh what do I know though.

um... things still don't match up.

you posted on 9/1 or 9/2 that you'd gotten a positive test. if you're 6 weeks now, then you would have been 2 weeks then. there is no such thing as "2 weeks pregnant", that is conception and there is no way you would have gotten a positive test.

You see I thought the same thing, but my moms friend told me I was 6 weeks. I think shes wrong because I thought I was already like 4 or 5 week so I would be like 8 or 9 weeks now....rite?

Right. If you know the first day of your last period, you can count from there to find out how many weeks you are.

I'm not picking on you (so don't say I am), but your story doesn't always jive well. First it was your friends mom now it is your moms friend.

And doulas are not ultrasound technicians. I'm fairly amazed she has an ultrasound machine at her home. They are pretty expensive and doulas don't make that much.

My mom didnt know yet when my friends mom gave me the ultrasound so obviously that is not what I ment. I do have an appt with and actual obgyn this friday though so hopefully she will tell me how far along I truly am.
Does anyone know if my doctor will give me a picture of my baby? Or do they not do that till later...?

In our own defense, you never said when you told your mom. So how could we have known.

It depends on if your doctor gives you an ultrasound. They don't all do that.

No I tottaly understand. It was my fault, I was putting different dates out thier becuase I was unsure. I should have gone to the doctors strait away after I found out I was pregnant, I also should have told my parents...but I didnt. My apologies.
