Especially eHealthy
*knots eyebrows* No, I've never heard anything about that. I have heard of research stating that the "sugar high" is actually just a placebo effect, which would make sense since I'm not very gulliable, and sugar does nothing to me XD

No .... but I gave up Cider cos it made me 'a firey monster' .... I suppose it's all down to 'personal body make up' reactions to different substances ... try sweetners instead if you think it's sugar turning you into a monster ...

Extremely eHealthy
I worked with a boy that would turn into the tazmainian devil when he had too much sugar. If allowed he would literally get into the sugar bowl and eat handful after handful.
Generally he was fairly high strung anyway, but a nice kid (he was dx with ADHD). If he had too much sugar he would be assaultive, destructive, and an absolute tyrant for about an hour and then he would crash out and sleep.
Natural sugars like those found in fruits didn't do it to him.

Hi Kira .... No not me babe, I've not had a baby lol Smile
But you are right, getting him to a Doc is the right thing to do, they may suggest making a Diary of events, what eaten at what times, and any reactions, even if it is a calm reaction, then you can eliminate that food substance .....reactions to sugar could be an ADHD, and that it needs to be diagnosed as such .... or it maybe something else that eaten WITH sugar added that causes this.
Make a daily diary of everything eaten, and any reactions at any point after that food is taken .... then you may be able to pin-point the REAL thing that's causing this 'monster' ..... it could be chocolate, apples, banana's, beer anything ... but write it all down ....
