finn was just playing in his room by himself and things were a little too quiet... i snuck up on him and he'd somehow gotten a tube of lotion and opened it and was just covered!

ew. that was not fun cleaning up.

and no, i didn't get pictures because i didn't want to leave him to get the camera. i was afraid he'd get lotion on his rug or some of the stuff littering his floor.

Awwww Finn! Lol. You can always tell when they are up to no good. Things get very quiet. It's the cutest thing though because they look up at you like "What? What did I do?"!

when i found him he did give me a look of "what..." but when i said "oh no!" he got all flustered and started whining like "get this goop off me!" and he was holding his arms out like he was afraid to touch anything.

oh, i forgot about the other night when he threw a giant bottle of goldbond powder off his changing table and the top came off! there was powder covering the floor for 10 feet in every direction, splattered on the walls and his dresser, all over my legs... that was another fun one to clean. he's afraid of the vacuum though so he left me alone to clean up in peace.

that's his new favorite game, throwing things on the floor.

How many times do you pick it up for him before you give up?

my kids seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to lotions or anything that can cause a mess. the best was when they smeared sudocrem (really thick water resistant nappy cream that is very hard to get off) all over themselves, the floor, my bedroom furniture...

it was my fault cause logan had no nappies left and i went to gewt some more out of the store cupboard in the kitchen. needless to say 5 mins later that's what i walked in on.

layla and courtney also had a talcum powder fight in my bedroom once. they went to play with the toys and i could hear them laughing 'aw how cute' i thought til i went in a white powder was EVERYWHERE!

KIDS.... LOL

You should say not yet! Kaylee grossed me out so bad the other day doing that. I was gagging & everything. It took me a good 10 minutes to clean her hands off because I was gagging so much!

Ha. Rowan played with her poop. It was my fault because she was playing in the living room naked and I went to the kitchen to start breakfast and I come back only a couple of minutes later to not only find her hands covered with poop... but also her mouth (ew!). Miss poop face smiled at me and reached for me to pick her up ( no way, Rowan!).

Haha aww silly Finn! Jenny's favourite game is throwing things too. She chucks stuff on the floor & then wants it back Rolling Eyes

Ooh I have a poop story! Thankfully not about Jenny though. hehe. A woman at nursery was telling me about her friend.. she'd given her little boy a biscuit & then left him for a minute to go to the bathroom.. then a few minutes later her son had come up to her with chocolate on his fingers, so she licked it off, as mums do.. only it turned out that it wasn't actually chocolate after all.. Neutral

Shocked Wow, that's really disgusting!

I never suck on Alyvia's fingers. Not ever. I'm kind of weird - changing diapers doesn't make me gag, but spit/slobber does. I don't want anything that's been in her mouth, in my mouth. Just, eww.

I was out with a friend a few months back and her baby dropped her paci on the ground, so my friend picked it up, sucked on it for a second (to clean it, she said) and gave it back to her baby. I wanted to vomit right there in the store.

The poop-finger story makes me want to cry. Sad

Eww eww eww! Sad

Actually, I'm probably a bad mommy because I won't do that! I'd refuse to give it to my baby until I found a restroom to wash it off, so I'd probably be making my baby cry because I'm too grossed out to suck on it.

*shudders*

When do you go back for your gender ultrasound, Sarah? Very Happy
